Webhooks, when your next system needs to know.

Some connections begin with a change, not a scheduled check. Scope the event, the destination and the response your external system needs.

We agree your requirements and scope before implementation.

A change in one place can mean work in another.

An external tool may need to respond when a relevant record changes. Before connecting the two, agree which change matters, what information can leave the workspace and who operates the receiving system.

  1. 01

    Identify the business event

Describe the change your other system needs to react to. We confirm whether a suitable supported event exists; a module name does not establish a public webhook event.

  2. 02

    Agree the receiving system

Define the destination, the information it needs and who can authorize the connection. Access and data requirements belong in the integration scope.

  3. 03

    Define delivery and failure handling

Review verification, repeated messages and what should happen if the destination is unavailable. Event availability and delivery behavior need confirmation before your system depends on them.

Plan the receiving side as carefully as the event.

An event-driven connection needs an agreed delivery contract. We confirm external delivery capabilities and the required integration work before implementation.

Two questions to start with

  • Which change should start the external work?
  • Who will handle failures in the receiving system?

Tell us which external system needs the event and what it should do with it.
